On Sunday Katelyn and I left Kailey with Marmee and took the boys on a train ride from Grapevine to the Fort Worth Stockyards. They were very excited and had a wonderful time. They kept saying, "All aboard!" Of course the horses and cowboys were a big hit and having some peanut M&M's on the train was certainly not John's least favorite part of the outing. Yes, he's related to me. Emmitt took a nap on the train and John and I worked on a train sticker book that Marmee had found and sent with us.

It's not very often that my energetic boy has time to just sit in my lap. It was a treat!
I think the boys enjoyed the quarter rides as much as anything we did with them all weekend!
Emmitt got to pet the horses and went home with a Texan cowboy hat and pretend six-shooter.

I can always have a good time when there are peanut M&M's around.
Looks like so much fun! The train ride has been something I've wanted to do w/ Hayley too. And ditto on the peanut M&M's.
