LJ's New Passion

Little John has discovered the world of board games. John and I are both big game lovers. Dominoes, cards, trivia, you name it. We love a good competition. Unless I lose. Then I love it until the losing part. Anyway, on the 4th he played a game of Life with my family and was completely enthralled. He sat there the entire time we were at my parents' house without moving. On my birthday we played Uno and it was the same thing. Loved it. I think it's time to break out the Go Fish, Old Maid, Candyland and Hi Ho Cherry-o. Any other suggestions on good board games for little ones?

Cranium game called Cariboo - we love it at the clinic where I work, and my kids love it. Can use it on lots of different ability levels, and the best part for sweet little boys - it comes with 6 BALLS that you have to find!! That's my favorite besides all the oldies but goodies!

Cariboo is our all time favorite too. Emma is really into Memory right now too. What a fun age!

Jack and I have enjoyed the old fashioned Candy Land quite a bit in the last few days. I love that he loves to play games. Memory is a great one, too!

I used to love Operation (funny since I married a surgeon, yes?) but that might be a bit old for LJ. : )
