A Prayer for Virginia

I can't stop thinking about those moms and dads who sent their babies off to school in Virginia and just went through the most horrifying days of their lives! Waiting to hear from their kids, waiting to be notified that their's might have been one of that terribly large number. Lord, please draw these families to you and do what You do best - making something beautiful out of the dead ashes of our sin. I think most of all I pray for the family of the shooter if and when they know - I cannot fathom what that would feel like. Lord, we are in such desperate need of You!

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
